A quick glance of the outfit above, everything appears in order. The coat compliments the pants and all other items mesh together for a nice dapper look. This outfit can easily look like a hot mess if the small details were missed.
Although not exactly the same combination of blazer and trousers, this look missed the mark because I mismatched my oxblood color belt and watch with light walnut brown shoes. With this small detail out of place, the entire flow of this potentially stylish look was ruined.
Side by Side Comparison:
Outfit #1 not only matched the leathers but also the gold accent on the watch, belt buckle, and tie clip. Outfit #2 simply mismatched the shoes. It could have been even worse if I wore a silver watch to clash with the gold belt buckle.
